Girls Education Enrollment Initiative
Educate Girls made grants to non-profit partners in India to support programs delivered across multiple States including Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Himanchal Pradesh and West Bengal. Programs supported the enrolment of vulnerable girls from remote villages into government schools for both primary and secondary education. The funds supported partners to identify out-of-school girls, enrol them into school, help them to stay in school and improve their learning, increasing their access to better career opportunities and life chances.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesApr 1, 2022 – Mar 31, 2023Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$28MInnovative Education Strategies for Girls
Educate Girls supported partners in India with technical advice and strategy development to launch innovative programs and digital tools for improved program delivery. Funds were provided for strategy development for programs that remove barriers for girls to access government schemes and for adolescent girls to enrol in the government open school system and successfully pass their 10th grade exams. Educate Girls supported improved data collection and advanced analytics through machine learning and the gathering of evidence to ensure programs are better targeted to reach the most vulnerable communities. It also developed a strategic engagement plan to accelerate partners' ability to have an impact beyond program delivery, influencing the wider ecosystem in promoting the importance of girls' education.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesApr 1, 2022 – Mar 31, 2023Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$434.2KProgram Management for Girls Education
