Programs
Program 1 [2020]
In 2020, due to the mandates surrounding Covid-19, Honor Flight Network initiated a "No Fly" status for all Honor Flight Hubs in the US. As a way to remain engaged with our Veterans, we participated in drive-by parades for birthdays, holidays, and other milestone events throughout the state of Maine. On September 11, 2020, in conjunction with the Freeport Flag Ladies, Senator Susan Collins, and a large group of the public, we observed a commemoration of Sept 11th in Freeport, Maine. Board Members actively contacted Veterans on our waiting list and prospective Veterans and provided updates as information was received from Honor Flight Network headquarters. We utilized social media as an outreach to keep Veterans, Volunteers, and our Communities up to date.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2020 – Dec 31, 2020Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$27.2KHonor Flight Maine
