Funds were received for direct distribution of meals to seniors living within St. Louis Housing Authority properties. Meals were provided 6 days per week and consisted of lunch and dinner. We provided over 480,000 pounds of produce to residents living with St Louis Housing Authority Public Housing over a 6 months period. Services were also provided to United Way as part of their 211 Assistance Program. Our food deliveries for this program component bridged more than 10 zip code areas and 3,600 residents. 5,000 meals per week were provided to this target group. For the entire year of 2020 we provided meals for those most at risk during the COVID-19 pandemic: seniors and families in need. The 1st major program service contract was for St. Louis County in which we provided 4 meals for over 1,000 people living within public housing. 100% of these meal deliveriea were made to individuals that were at oir below the poverty level. Most were seniors and children living with seniors. This comprised about 90% of our deliveries.
