Ballard Early Childhood Program
Ballard's Early Childhood Program is committed to providing affordable, quality education for children ages 2-5 in an early childhood educational setting. The program is licensed for 48 students. Ballard assists families in closing the gap between school and home by focusing on trauma-informed care and kindergarten readiness. During 2024, our Education Program had 67 children enrolled. The Ballard Center has successfully implemented kindergarten readiness and social emotional development curriculums. With our Family Stabilization Program, the Ballard Center connects hundreds of families each year to financial assistance so they can avoid eviction or utility disconnect. We also sponsor mobile food distribution events twice a month and maintain an onsite food and clothing pantry along with diapers and personal care items. During 2024, 337 household members received financial assistance; 12,128 community members were served at our mobile food distribution; 7,297 family members benefited from pantry services; and 806 children were impacted by our holiday Adopt-A-Family program.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2024 – Dec 31, 2024Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$725K
