TO BUILD AWARENESS OF THE STRUGGLES FOR FREEDOM IN EASTERN KANSAS AND WESTERN MISSOURI. WE WORK TO PRESERVE AND SHARE THE STORIES AROUND THREE MAJOR THEMES; THE SETTLEMENT OF THE FRONTIER, THE BORDER WAR AND CIVIL WAR, AND THE ENDURING STRUGGLE FOR FREEDOM.
