SPACE Gallery Public Programs
SPACE Gallery is a contemporary arts organization that supports artists in presenting live music and performances, visual arts exhibitions, film screenings, and community events. The Kindling Fund is a statewide granting program for artist project grants that engage the public in meaningful ways outside of traditional arts institutions. It is part of the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts Regional Regranting Network. SPACE's Congress Street landmark building is also home to 31 below-market artist studios, including a collective printmaking shop and an artist residency studio. Studios are offered annually via a Rent Free Studio program to outstanding local artists who are Black, Indigenous, or another identity of color, selected by a local jury of alumni of the program.
