CSS Food Pantry Program
The CSS Food Pantry Program operates two food pantries which are open a total of three times per week. There is no charge for food distributed at the pantries or for grocery delivery to homes of individuals unable to attend the pantry. During the year ended June 30, 2018, there were 24,705 individual visits and grocery deliveries made. The CSS Advocacy Program had 560 beneficiaries during in the year that ended June 30, 2018. Clients received a variety of services including help writing resumes, filling out energy assistance requests, obtaining school supplies for their children, working through difficult family situations, applying for photo ID, keeping medical appointments, finding housing and meeting many more needs. Chapel House, the Senior Home for low or moderate income independent seniors provided a clean, comfortable, secure home during the year ended June 30, 2018 for four individuals.
