ChildFund Education Initiative
EDUCATION: The quality of children's learning and education depends on their home, school, community and even nationwide education systems. ChildFund works across all those levels, with special emphasis on early childhood development, protection and basic education access. We partner with local organizations and ministries of education in all our program countries to strengthen national and regional education systems and engage families in establishing community leadership for learning.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJul 1, 2023 – Jun 30, 2024Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$51.9MWASH Services for Health Improvement
HEALTH & SANITATION: ChildFund's interventions to promote public health include improving access to water and sanitation facilities, supporting local water and sanitation committees to manage and maintain water sources, and educating children and families on the importance of safe water and healthy practices. We also work through local partners to establish robust monitoring and evaluation systems and support capacity-building for local authorities and service providers. All of this ensures the reliable and sustainable provision of Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) services, leading to better health outcomes and improved quality of life for communities.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJul 1, 2023 – Jun 30, 2024Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$22MYouth Employability and Entrepreneurship Program
