Southside Community Hospital is committed to providing access to quality health care to the residents of Farmville and the surrounding areas. During 2024 Hospital's employees, medical staff and volunteers provided the region with over 2,500 inpatient admissions and over 9,600 days of care. The hospital has performed more than 1,500 surgeries and had over 29,300 emergency room visits. Southside Community Hospital is actively engaged in the community through business, civic and service organizations, and through its financial support of other not-for-profit organizations.
