Elegba Folklore Society's Cultural Center showcases visual arts, artifacts and forms of material culture where all the pieces have an origin story. Visitors can see and collect objects and symbols that provide a cultural connection and a learning opportunity through exposure. The Center safely hosted nearly 4,000 visitors during the pandemic of 2020. They were both residents and non-residents. The Society's performing company of dancers, drummers, singers, spoken word artists and masquerades appears at colleges, schools, community theatres,festivals, museums, libraries and churches to present from its repertoire of concerts, dance theatre, performance lectures and workshops. Audiences and studentsare immersed in high quality arts engagement mixed with the benefit of cultural education and a universal appeal through the company's original work.
