With the help of Department of Justice, Office of Violence against Women-OVW, SHNWC provides programs to curb domestic violence and abuse against Native Women in the community. The organization provides education, outreach, a domestic abuse hotline, and programs to help Native American women achieve safety and independence through transitional housing and training programs.
