    THE ORGANIZATION SEEKS TO HELP PREGNANT WOMEN AND LOW-INCOME FAMILIES WITH YOUNG CHILDREN THROUGH CRISIS SITUATIONS. WE SCREEN APPLICANTS, SERVE BY APPOINTMENT, AND EVALUATE EACH FAMILY AND SITUATION INDIVIDUALLY FOR COUNSELING, CLOTHES, CAR SEATS, AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. AFTER WE HAVE HELPED A FAMILY, THEY ARE REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN OUR LIFE SKILLS EDUCATION PROGRAM, THROUGH WHICH THEY LEARN PERSONAL FINANCE AND BUDGETING PRACTICES IN ORDER TO AVOID ANOTHER FINANCIAL CRISIS. 2945 INDIVIDUALS WERE SERVED DURING THE FISCAL YEAR ENDED JUNE 30, 2017.

  • Crisis Support and Life Skills Education

    The Organization seeks to help pregnant women and low-income families with young children through crisis situations. We screen applicants, serve by appointment, and evaluate each family and situation individually for counseling, clothes, car seats, and financial assistance. After we have helped a family, they are required to participate in our Life Skills Education program, through which they learn personal finance and budgeting practices in order to avoid another financial crisis. 981 families were served during the fiscal year and 179 individuals completed our education classes.
