Program 1 [2020]
The year 2020 was marked by the impact of COVID-19 in our services, from the delivery of existing programs to the making of adjustments to provide new services to the community. With the closing of schools in March, Sandy Springs Mission jumped right away to provide virtual tutoring, assisting 50 K-5 students with one-on-one tutoring until the end of the school year. We also provided a hybrid summer camp for more than 40 students and continued assisting students virtually during that time. In the fall, we continued helping students online, but also brought 25 students, mostly siblings, onsite in October. One of our greatest accomplishments for the fall was the launching of LYRIC (Latino Your Readiness and Information for College) in collaboration with another local non-profit organization to assist more than 60 Latino high school students with their college application process.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2020 – Dec 31, 2020Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$308.4KAfter-School Programs for Youth
