Progressive Life Assistance for Adults with Disabilities
See Schedule O for complete description.Founded in 1969, the mission of Annandale Village is to provide progressive life assistance to adults with intellectual disabilities and acquired brain injuries so that they can maximize their abilities and maintain their independence in the least restrictive environment.Characteristically, individuals served at Annandale Village are 18 years of age or older with a primary diagnosis of an intellectual disability, Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, other developmental disability, or have experienced a traumatic brain injury.Annandale Village offers both residential and non-residential programs and services that provide a balance of structure, freedom, encouragement, instruction and fulfillment. Annandale's focus on individual development and personal care includes: residential living services, assisted living, a skilled nursing center, on-campus health services, counseling services, occupational therapy, educational programming, vocational training and job placement, and a vast array of community inclusion activities.Today, Annandale Village is the only nonprofit in the state of Georgia to offer men and women with developmental disabilities a lifetime continuum of service and care.In recognition of its standard for excellence, Annandale's D. Scott Hudgens Center for Skilled Nursing was recently named one of the "Best Nursing Homes" in the country by U.S. News & World Report.
