School supply Center focuses on providing students in need from Broward County Puyblic Schools with new school supplies. BEF established School Supply Center where teachers from Broward Schools can pick free school supplies for their students and class room twice a year. School Supply Center is dedicated to ensuring that students in need opportunity to learn. With the Foundations multi-facted PreK-12 best practices model. Innovative teachers are recognized for their ingenuity in developing engageing and proven curriculum,their clssrooms benefit from grant funding;and their peers replicate, enhance and build upon methods of academic achievement. Innovative Teacher grant-winning projects funded through BEF instill enthusiasm for learning in the Districts students, improve their grasp of the curriculum and ultimately increase the likelihood they stay in school. Since the programs inception over $1.7 million has been invested through appproximately 16,855 teachers to fund over 2414 projects.
