RITA Championship Golf Event
The RITA Championship went to a new site, Magnolia Point Golf Country Club this year, after no event last year. While the tennis portion of the event went well, the golf never really materialized and the expenses charged were drastically more than promised or expected. The MixedRITA tennis event scheduled for May was rescheduled for August because of Covid 19 concerns. In August, the event was cancelled. However, our fundraising efforts continued with excellent results. The SenoiRITAs at Sawgrass event, our largest, was scheduled for October but was cancelled due to Covid 19 concerns. We did proceed with fundraising and had extrodinary results considering all three parts of our even were cancelled. Proceeds of 45,000 went to Dr Coplands cancer lab at Mayo Clinic.
