Resource Center Transitional Program
The Resource Center is a transitional day program providing professional case management to highly vulnerable individuals experiencing homelessness to help them achieve and maintain permanent housing. Showers, meals, laundry, computer access, mail services, classes, and social activities are provided as part of the program. The Refuge provides homeless prevention services to households at risk of losing their housing. Individuals experiencing homelessness are provided with essential services and referrals. The Volunteer Ministry Dental Clinic offers comprehensive dental services to individuals experiencing homelessness and other low-income, uninsured residents of Knox County. The clinic is staffed by a part-time dental assistant, a contract dentist, contract dental assistants, and volunteer dental professionals. The clinic is open 1-2 days per week depending on volunteer availability.
