The Junior League of Birmingham focuses its community efforts through projects under four impact areas: Advancing Education & Culture, as education is the foundation to achieve one's full potential; Improving Health & Well-being, as improving health outcomes is fundamental to creating a vibrant community; Mitigating Crisis & Promoting Safety, as safety and crisis intervention plus prevention, preparedness, and readiness are critical are integral factors for communities; and Overcoming Poverty & Financial Instability, as every individual should have the training, support services, and opportunity necessary to be economically secure.
