The Community Food Bank of Central Alabama has over 300 partners that are located throughout our 12-county service area. With their help, the food bank was able to provide 21 million meals to those in need in 2023. This is accomplished by identifying gaps, either geographically or demographically, that leave a specific population vulnerable to hunger and then placing direct meal programs that foster healthy food access for those at risk of hunger. These programs consist of mobile pantries, family markets, senior grocery programs and food/school pantries. With our resources, we are able to feed our neighbors across our 12 counties equitably.
