Community Education Services: Held weekly and monthly meetings to discuss human rights and community issues with an average attendance of 70 people, produced community theater and art addressing community issues, conducted extensive media outreach, held meetings at labor camps, and distributed labor rights booklets. Broadcast education programing on radio, PSAs. Hosted and attended public meetings locally, state-wide, and nationally to raise awareness of farm worker issues and campaign for protecting their human rights and creating humane working conditions. Organized festivals to focus attention on farm worker issues. Conducted worker education on-site at farms in dozens of counties across a 7-state area, focusing on rights and responsibilities under the Fair Food Program, educating thousands of workers. Collaboration among state and county agencies, Doctors Without Borders, and CIW to include free testing for symptomatic and non-symptomatic, contact tracing, alternative hosing for those who teste positive and cannot self-isolate at home.February, 2020 Time Magazine Immokalee, FL Iconic Time Magazine Special Issue on legacy of Civil Rights Movement features CIW and Fair Food Program. Human Rights Enforcement: Collaborated with federal authorities and attorneys on major modern-day slavery cases assisting primarily with identification, investigation and victim assistance. Provided technical assistance for organizations to develop sexual harassment prevention programs.
