Educational Classes and Meeting German Language Classes: During the past year, over 400 adults attended various levels of German courses in Austin, San Antonio, West Austin, Round Rock along with Online/Remote learning. Over 25 children in the age range from 3-14 years were enrolled via online education. 2020 has seen a similar level as in 2019 in adult online classes, however our childrens classes have taken a dramatic reduction, due to Covid. Additionally, we usually have several one week summer camps that attract over 70 children in the months of June, July and August. Those were canceled due to Covid restrictions. We hold weekly Stammtisch, a lunchtime gathering allowing people to speak German that was in the historical German Free School building, which in now on Zoom.
