Refugee Resettlement Services
RST provides resettlement services for arriving refugees through the federal refugee admissions program which included activities such as arrival reception, housing set-up and furnishing, cultural orientation, benefits referrals and case management for basic needs for the initial period post-arrival. RST also provided employment placement services and cash assistance for eligible clients. Survivors of Trafficking Empowerment Program (STEP) provides high quality, victim-centered case management and comprehensive services that address the individualized needs of victims of all forms of human trafficking (adults, minors, domestic born, foreign born, labor, sex). STEP also provides support and expanded education, awareness, and training to local communities and law enforcement agencies on the identification and reporting of labor and sex trafficking. STEP is predominantly funded by DOJ and HHS/TVAP; direct client services include shelter/housing assistance, medical/dental/mental health care, substance abuse treatment, interpretation, employment and educational assistance, legal services, and victim advocacy.
