Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Cleburne (THC) is a 92 bed regional hospital servicing Cleburne, Joshua and surrounding communities. Since 1986, the hospital has provided quality health care services to the Johnson County community. THC offers many services such as cardiology, radiology, digestive, neurology and respiratory services. Patients also have access to orthopedic, women's services and a wound care center with hyperbaric services. During the year, THC had 10,760 patient days, 3,345 discharges, 34,987 outpatient encounters, 25,201 emergency room visits and 448 births. THC provides quality medical healthcare regardless of race, creed, sex, national origin, handicap, age, or ability to pay. The hospital provides care to persons covered by governmental programs including Medicare and Medicaid for reimbursement that does not always cover the cost of providing the care. Recognizing its mission to the community, services are provided to both financially indigent and medically indigent patients. Community benefit is provided through many reduced price services and free programs to the community. These services are essential to provide complete healthcare to the communities served. Some of these programs include: Various health screenings were offered to the community free of charge or for a nominal charge. THC partnered with the Texas Department of Health to provide free immunizations to all children ages 0-8 in Johnson County in a program called Shots for Tots.
