In 2023/24, 64 participants, grades 1 to 5, enrolled in our Afterschool Program at 2 site locations. Program participants received a free healthy dinner, homework help, reading intervention, and mentoring from our PTNT Corps Members. 55 of regular attendees grew in their social - emotional learning and 75 grew in their reading skills. 624 students, grades 1 to 12, enrolled in our 2024 Summer Program across 9 site locations. The elementary students read for 40 minutes, one to one, with a volunteer each day to improve fluency, vocabulary, and text comprehension as well as to increase their confidence in reading.
