Increasing H.O.P.E. Financial Education
Broad Community Impact Summary In 2024, Increasing H.O.P.E. Financial Training Center delivered over 660 hours of financial education, housing counseling, and small business training to more than 640 clients across Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester counties. The organization helped 15 families achieve homeownership, supported 156 small business owners through the I-HOPE Women's Business Center, and provided free tax preparation services to nearly 500 clients. These efforts generated more than $3.5 million in economic impact, reflecting our commitment to fostering long-term financial stability and community resilience among low- to moderate-income residents.Focused Program Accomplishments Increasing H.O.P.E. made significant strides in 2024 by expanding its financial literacy and economic empowerment programs. We supported 643 individuals through 663 hours of financial education and counseling, assisted 15 families in achieving homeownership, and provided 515 hours of small business coaching through our Women's Business Center. The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program served 487 clients, helping them maximize refunds and build financial security.
