Adult Education
SOAR Fox Cities Adult Education Program is designed to educate adults with developmental disabilities with skills that will help them live as independently as possible. All classes are taught with the needs of the participants in mind. Adult Education classes progress at a slower pace, include a lot of repetition, feature hands-on learning, and incorporate both verbal and visual learning styles. We believe all community members deserve access to education and community resources in an understandable and accessible manner. Some of our classes include healthy diets, home and personal safety, financial education, household chores, communication and conflict resolution, healthy relationships, and independent living skills.GeographiesAppleton, WI, USADatesNot indicatedSourceUser-generatedBasic and remedial instruction,Developmental disability services,Abuse preventionPeople with disabilities,Adults150–Adult Social, Recreation, and Respite
