SHELTER & SUPPORTIVE SERVICES: DURING FY18, LIFEMOVES SERVED 10,184 CLIENTS AND PROVIDED OVER 266,950 NIGHTS OF SHELTER ACROSS OUR 17 FACILITIES IN SAN MATEO AND SANTA CLARA COUNTIES. SERVICES FOR CHRONICALLY HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS: DURING FY18, THE LIFEMOVES HOMELESS OUTREACH TEAM SERVED 342 HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS LIVING ON THE STREETS, PROVIDING SERVICES AND SUPPORTS DESIGNED TO HELP THEM MOVE THEM OFF THE STREET AND INTO SHELTERS AND/OR PERMANENT HOUSING. IN ADDITION, LIFEMOVES PROVIDED 477 HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS WITH DROP-IN SERVICES INCLUDING BASIC NECESSITIES, HOT MEALS, AND CASE MANAGEMENT. BECAUSE OUR CHRONICALLY HOMELESS CLIENTS ARE DIFFICULT TO SERVE, HAVE LONG HISTORIES OF HOMELESSNESS, OFTEN HAVE CRIMINAL HISTORIES, AND HAVE ALIENATED THEIR FAMILIES AND SUPPORT NETWORKS, THEY HAVE MANY BARRIERS TO BECOMING STABLY HOUSED AND SUSTAINING THAT HOUSING. SERVICES FOR VETERANS: DURING FY18, LIFEMOVES SERVED 475 VETERAN HOUSEHOLDS, CONSISTING OF 625 INDIVIDUALS (INCLUDING MINOR CHILDREN): 126 VETERAN HOUSEHOLDS WERE SERVED THROUGH HOMELESSNESS PREVENTION PROGRAMS AND OTHER NON-SHELTER SERVICES; 120 VETERAN HOUSEHOLDS WERE SERVED THROUGH THE RAPID RE-HOUSING PROGRAM; AND 229 VETERAN HOUSEHOLDS WERE SERVED IN LIFEMOVES SHELTERS. OF THE VETERANS SERVED IN OUR FAMILY SHELTERS, 89% EXITED TO STABLE HOUSING, AND 100% OF VETERANS SERVED IN OUR HOMELESSNESS PREVENTION PROGRAM EXITED TO STABLE HOUSING.
