  • Magic City Books Literary Programs

    The Tulsa Literary Coalition operates Magic City Books, a bookstore that offers extensive literary programs to the Tulsa community. TLC/MCB collaborates often with other local non-profits to provide programs that offer a literary component aligned with the needs of our partners. Our accomplishments in 2021 include maintaining stable operations during Covid 19 conditions; offering over 80 local, national and international authors in programs across multiple virtual platforms; also, the Oklahoma Center for Non-Profits announced the selection of TLC/MCB as a Finalist for their Award for Non-Profit Excellence, an honor for our young organization.

  • Program 1 [2024]

    The Tulsa Literary Coalition operates Magic City Books, a bookstore that offers extensive literary programs to the Tulsa community. TLC/MCB collaborates often with other local non-profits to provide programs that offer a literary component aligned with the needs of our partners. In 2024 we hosted 101 community and author events and partnered with other organizations on an additional 57 events. Events were held at 48 different venues throughout the Tulsa community and served over 20,000 people. We hosted 69 book club meetings throughout the year, with 646 total attendees.
