  • Boxes of Basics for Local Children

    In 2024, Boxes of Basics packed and distributed 2,180 boxes for local children in Prince William County, Manassas, and Manassas Park, reaching 164 referring partners, including 91 schools, 52 nonprofits, and 21 other organizations. The continued expansion of our outreach is supported by an incredible team of 1,473 active volunteers and 14 permanent donation drop-off locations hosted by local businesses throughout the region. This year also saw a significant increase in community need, with demand for boxes growing immensely, pushing our team to work harder than ever to keep up. Our move in August 2023 to a larger warehouse at 9239 Mike Garcia Drive remains critical to our operations, allowing us to respond to the rising need while reinforcing our commitment to supporting children facing clothing insecurity across the region.
