In 2022, Building Community Value hosted a 9-month real estate training program (from March through November) for 32 participants. Our seven-person training team invested 50+ hours of in-class time as well as individual and group office hours. We welcomed 15 guest speakers to share their expertise with the participants and worked with numerous funding and resource partners to ensure that participants got the most out of the training experience. Participants' final projects were judged by representatives from philanthropic partners as well as local community development financial institutions.
