To provide participating non-profits with valuable training, media exposure, volunteers, board development and much-needed financial support. To encourage locals who do not currently support Pikes Peak region nonprofits to start donating money and time, with particular emphasis on catalyzing those in their 20s and 30s to give back; to educate El Paso the Teller County Residents - and especially the 200,000 locals who read the associated newsweeklies - about the vital work undertaken by relatively small, innovative non profits operating in and for our community.
