OUR APPROACH - BEGIN WITH EIGHT WEEKS OF TRAINING WITH A FOCUS ON SALES SKILLS IN THE TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRY. WE PLACE CANDIDATES WHO SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE OUR TRAINING IN SALES ROLES TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITES FOR VALUE-ADDED PARTNERSHIPS THROUGH VOLUNTEERISM. OUR EMPOWERMENT CURRICULUM - IN ORDER TO GIVE EACH CANDIDATE INDIVIDUAL ATTENTION, WE LIMIT OUR COHORTS TO A MAXIMUM OF 35 CANDIDATES. OUR GOAL IS FOR OUR CANDIDATES TO EXCEED SALES AND COMPANY-WIDE EXPECTATIONS. TO EMPOWER CANDIDATES TO DO THIS, WE TRAIN ON MINDSET, SALES PROCESS, BEST PRACTICES FOR COLD CALLING, EMAIL CADENCE, AND BUSINESS ACUMEN. WE ALSO COVER TOOLS LIKE SALESFORCE, YESWARE, & VIDEO CONFERENCING. DURING OUR FY2020 WE HAD A 68% PLACEMENT RATE WITH AN AVERAGE SALARY OF $55,000. 98% OF OUR CANDIDATES ARE FROM OVERLOOKED COMMUNITIES, PREDOMINANTLY COMING FROM THE SOUTH AND WEST SIDES OF CHICAGO & BAY AREA OF CALIFORNIA. WE HAVE A FOUR-STEP SCREENING PROCESS, INCLUDING A PREDICTIVE FIT ASSESSMENT THAT IDENTIFIES INDIVIDUALS WITH TEAMWORK, POLISH, RIGOR, IMPACT, CURIOSITY, OWNERSHIP, AND GRIT. RE:WORK'S PROGRAM CONSISTS OF 5 COHORTS PER YEAR, EACH BEING 9 WEEKS WITH 12 CANDIDATES PER COHERT. IN 2020 WE HAD A PLACEMENT SUCCESS RATE OF 68%. THE ORGANIZATION SUPPORTED 104 FIRST-TIME JOB PLACEMENTS AND 48 CAREER REPLACEMENTS FOR PROGRAM ALUMNI. PARTICIPANTS ENTERING THE PROGRAM EARNED AN AVERAGE OF 38,947, AND THOSE PLACED IN TECH ROLES EARNED AN AVERAGE STARTING SALARY OF 74,503, REPRESENTING A 91% INCREASE IN INCOME ACHIEVED IN LESS THAN TWO MONTHS ON AVERAGE.
