Huli Program: a program focused on social justice and supporting uplifting and empowering Hawaiian community by providing organizing and action training and response to community needs. Hanakehau is a 4 acre land restoration site and homebase for our operations. We are actively removing and controlling invasive species planting native cultural use and food plants. Other Programs: Kupaaikee carving revitalization program. Our apprentice carvers participated in carving large scale kii akua carvings for a major series production in collaboration with Maori carvers in preparation for large scale site restorations in Hawaii. We spent the year preparing to host over 70 carvers from across Oceania for the 2024 Festival of the Pacific.
