African Advocacy Network (AAN) is a San Francisco-based nonprofit founded to serve the growing Diaspora of African and Afro-Caribbean immigrants. AAN provides a wide range of immigration legal services that are culturally and linguistically reflective of the community it serves. Between 2009 and 2017, AAN was fiscally sponsored by Dolores Street Community Services (DSCS). In 2018, AAN because an independent 501(c)3. In January 2018, AAN moved from 938 Valencia Street to its new premises at 3106 Folsom Street. AAN is a member of a number of different collaborations aimed at providing legal services for immigrants, including San Francisco Immigrant Legal & Education Network (SFILEN), San Francisco Legal Defense Collaborative (SFILDC), and San Francisco Language Access Network. While AAN provides services to a diverse range of immigrants, it is the main immigrant legal services provider to the African and Afro-Caribbean communities in the 9-county Bay Area.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJul 1, 2017 – Jun 30, 2018Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$238KImmigration Legal Services
