    Accelerator for America finds and develops solutions to economic insecurity and shares them with cities across the country, fostering inclusive, long-term wealth building for communities traditionally precluded. In response to the pandemic, we collaborated with partners in LA to create an initiative, which provided direct financial assistance to Angelenos. We provided $36,753,800 via 37,841 Angeleno Cards to help 104,156 Angelenos. We then partnered with the Open Society Foundations for replication into 10 additional communities across the country, which have distributed over $20,000,000 and helped over 30,000 people. In response to federal support in the American Rescue Plan (ARP), we are working with cities to establish Stimulus Command Centers, executive-level task forces comprising leaders from the public, private, and civic sectors that will serve as the points for planning, prioritizing, and coordinating federal rescue and recovery investments.

    ACCELERATOR FOR AMERICA IS A NONPROFIT, NONPARTISAN DO TANK THAT DELIVERS SOLUTIONS, CONNECTIONS, AND RESOURCES TO MAYORS AND OTHER LOCAL LEADERS WORKING TO CREATE GREATER ECONOMIC MOBILITY IN UNDERSERVED COMMUNITIES. OUR WORK IS UNIQUELY DRIVEN BY OUR NETWORK OF MAYORS AND OTHER LEADERS FROM THE PUBLIC, PRIVATE, PHILANTHROPIC, LABOR, NON-PROFIT, AND ACADEMIC SECTORS.
