Program 1 [2018]
Our primary focus for FY18 was generating a widespread cultural awakening about the problem of technology-accelerated social decay. We did this by: (1) reaching millions of people via mass media, including interviews and/or op-eds in 60 Minutes, the New York Times, Real Time with Bill Maher, Recode, Fox & Friends, CNN, NPR, PBS, WIRED, the Atlantic, TED, and more; (2) presenting at a wide range of conferences, including TED, Code, Global Privacy Summit, Fortune Brainstorm, SHIFT Forum, Club de Madrid, Techonomy, and many more; (3) briefing lawmakers about the problem and helping to prepare Congress for the tech platform hearings that occurred in Oct/Nov 2017 as well as Apr 2018.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJul 1, 2017 – Jun 30, 2018Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$376.6KProgram 2 [2018]
