  • Cooperative Business Education and Support

    Core Services: This include the foundational services of cooperative business education co-op business technical assistance and training. Components of this program include: Introductory Co-op; Co-op Academy a 10-week intensive study; Strong Co-op Series; Co-op Business Accelerator. Business financing through the NET Fund. We held 4 intro sessions connecting with over 50 individuals; our fall academy had 24 attendees our spring academy had 62; we are assisting 11 groups currently who are in various stages of start up and expansion have there's 8 co-ops that are operating solidly and others in the pipeline. We anticipate we will see about 50% growth as the awareness grows about the many benefits stable jobs enhanced workplace environment etc. Conversions assisted: 1 Jobs impacted: 23 Number of Strong Co-op Series Workshops: 2 Non-extractive start-up loans Seed Commons: $206,000 Number of target population reached: 170 Co-op Land Project - WaterBear sponsored
