Health and Economic Stability Grants
Nantahala Health Foundation (NHF) works to improve the health and well-being for those living in westernmost North Carolina, serving a total population of just over 150,000 individuals in a region made up of six counties and the Qualla Boundary. NHF offers grants and capacity building opportunities to organizations that are working to address the social determinants of health, including Health and Healthcare, Education, and Economic Stability. Grantmaking/Capacity Building in Health and Healthcare included investments in access to healthcare totaling $135,000 Grantmaking/Capacity Building in Education included investments adult continuing education to strengthen our healthcare workforce totaling $25,000.
