Our main accomplishment for 2022 was qualification and passage of the Raise the Wage Nebraska initiative. Over 25 Nebraska organizations and individual community leaders joined together to work on increasing Nebraska's minimum wage. The initiative will gradually raise Nebraska's minimum wage from $9 an hour to $15 an hour by 2026 and then index to inflation thereafter. 59% of Nebraska voters supported the measure and the law went into effect in 2023.
