ON TOP OF THAT, THE LIMITED AVAILABILITY OF CHILDCARE AS WELL AS THE COST OF CARE HAVE MADE LIFE EVEN MORE DIFFICULT FOR WORKING FAMILIES. COLORADO'S AVERAGE ANNUAL COST OF CHILDCARE WAS $16,333, RANKING AS AMONG THE MOST SIGNIFICANT CARE COST BURDEN IN THE COUNTRY.
