Grace House Shelter and Services
KHM purchased a 13,300 sq ft building and we are in the process of renovating the building to code to allow for the opening. The night shelter renovation (40) beds will be completed in the next few months. Counseling center has been open for almost 2 years with annual client contacts exceeding 1,100 per year. We work daily with other agencies providing needed team work. We have made available space at no charge, for a College to place 5 dental chairs for their dental school students allowing them to provide free dental care for homeless and underserved . In the same dental suite another non-profit will provide free vision services and make dentures in their lab. We have hired an executive director and previously hired a shelter director who has been providing casework services during the renovation of the building.
