Application format and required materials

Churches and/or other organizations in the Greek American or Orthodox Christian communities in the United States must submit a grant proposal which must include: I Name and address of the organization II Confirmation of 501C3 tax exempt status, or in the case of a church, confirmation of the hierarchial affiliation with a church that has confirmed 501C3 status III An organization summary with a short statement of the purpose, size, and history of the organization IV A detailed budget that identifies the projected income and expense of the organization V A proposal that describes the program. All grant proposals must be signed by two the following: The Executive Director, The Chief Executive Officer, and/or The Board Chairman of the organization. The organization must further certify that it has tax exempt status under Section 501C3 of the Internal Revenue Code and that it is not classified as a Private Foundation as defined in Section 509A of the Internal Revenue Code.
