THE ORGANIZATION WORKED WITH 41 NONPARTISAN PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS TO IMPLEMENT VOTE TRIPLING TACTICS IN 2020. THE ORGANIZATION DESIGNED AND MAINSTREAMED SOME OF THE MOST COST-EFFECTIVE RELATIONAL TURNOUT PROGRAMS IN THE 2020 ELECTION. THESE VOTER ENGAGEMENT INNOVATIONS SPARKED MORE THAN 250,000 FRIEND-TO-FRIEND VOTING REMINDERS AND PRODUCED AN ESTIMATED 5,600 NET VOTES IN HISTORICALLY DISENFRANCHISED COMMUNITIES. THESE PROGRAMS ARE PROVEN EFFECTIVE BY RANDOMIZED CONTROLLED TRIALS (RCTS), THE EGOLD STANDARD OF STUDIES. THE ORGANIZATION RAN NON-PARTISAN POLLING PLACE VOTE TRIPLING PROGRAM IN 47 CITIES WITH HISTORICALLY DISENFRANCHISED COMMUNITIES, INCLUDING SEVERAL NON-ENGLISH SPEAKING MONOLINGUAL COMMUNITIES. IN 2022, WE EMBARKED ON FOUR DESIGN PROJECTS AND MAINSTREAMED TWO RELATIONAL TACTICS. ACCOMPLISHMENTS FROM THIS WORK ARE SUMMARIZED BELOW:WE DESIGNED A TACTIC THAT GETS DOZENS OF FRIEND-TO-FRIEND VOTING REMINDERS SENT PER HOUR. WE TESTED THIS TACTIC IN ARIZONA, ASKING THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE TO REMIND THEIR FRIENDS TO VOTE. THIS TEST WAS SUCCESSFUL ENOUGH THAT WE PERFORMED A SECOND TEST OF THE TACTIC IN A SUBSEQUENT ELECTION TO FURTHER EVALUATE ITS IMPACT.WE REFINED AND TESTED AN EARLY-IN-CYCLE RELATIONAL TURNOUT TACTIC, COLLECTING THOUSANDS OF PLEDGES AND MATCHING HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE TO THE VOTER FILE ACROSS MULTIPLE STATES.WE REFINED AND TESTED A SCALABLE RELATIONAL SMS TACTIC.
