Theatrical Development Program
Our first program is Theatrical Development The organization engages in ongoing long-term collaborations with playwrights theatre directors theatrical designers and actors to research and create new works of theatre In addition to these long-term projects the company also engages in short term workshops and salons to develop new theatrical works This project engaged approximately 30 artists this year over the course of about a dozen workshops and salons of various lengths We anticipate developing another longer theatrical work this year and continuing the smaller salonsGeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2022 – Dec 31, 2022Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$203Theatrical Production Program
Our second program is Theatrical Production We produce both full-length theatrical productions in New York City as well as evenings of short works in progress on virtual platforms called Cheap Date This past year we hosted one virtual Cheap Date performance and produced 2 world premieres of full-length theatrical works These projects engaged approximately 40 artists and were seen by between 500 and 1000 audience members We dont anticipate a full-length production this coming year but do plan to premiere one again in 2024GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2022 – Dec 31, 2022Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$67.6KArtist Grants Program
