The Heart of West Lakes Wellness Center
West Lakes HWC, Inc. was incorporated on April 20, 2021 for charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code and classified as a supporting organization to Lift Orlando, Inc. West Lakes HWC, Inc. performs and carries out the exempt purposes of Lift Orlando, Inc. Specifically, the primary purpose of West Lakes HWC, Inc. is the construction and operation of a Health and Wellness Center known as The Heart of West Lakes Wellness Center (Heart). In June of 2021, West Lakes HWC secured New Markets Tax Credits to provide the final funding needed to finance the construction of the Heart of West Lakes Wellness Center. Set to open in 2022, the Heart will be a resident-focused center, designed to strengthen the community by providing convenient access to holistic health, financial, and lifestyle services under one roof. The two-story facility will be a space for residents to connect, learn, and thrive, and will feature first-class amenities paired with decor that pays homage to the community's rich history. On the first floor, residents will access a community caf, gathering spaces, a coworking space, and the West Lakes Financial Wellbeing Center.
