Taproot Earth develops a shared understanding of the climate crisis, advocates for a loss and damage fund that accounts for historic harm, advances climate migration policies, builds an infrastructure for a values-aligned community of attorneys and scholars who are committeed to Black-, Brown-, and Indigenous-led frontline movements, and convenes lawyers and organizers to address how race-conscious policymaking helps inform how investments move to communities, how domestic and global climate reparations are created, and how climate policies are shaped.
