Community Facility Development
Community Impact Inc. received a grant in the amount of 7,300,000 from the Homer Mildred Scott Foundation, a Section 501c3 organization EIN 74-2250381, which it used to purchase real property encompassing a multi-use facility for the use and benefit of the residents of Sheridan, Wyoming, and related expenses. Following the purchase of the facility, Community Impact Inc.s Board determined that the purpose would be better filled by having the Homer Mildred Scott Foundation operate the facility. Community Impact Inc. accordingly converted to a single-member limited liability company in which the Homer Mildred Scott Foundation is the sole member. The limited liability company is a disregarded entity that is not treated as an entity separate from the Homer Mildred Scott Foundation for Federal tax purposes. Community Impact Inc. effectively then made a liquidating distribution of its net assets to the Homer Mildred Scott Foundation.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesSep 17, 2021 – Nov 22, 2021Source990No causes providedNo populations provided––
