The Nevada Museum of Art, Inc. (the "Museum") is a not-for-profit organization housed in a contemporary building in Reno, Nevada designed by renowned architect Will Bruder. Founded in 1931, the Museum is one of the oldest cultural institutions in Nevada and is the only museum in the state accredited by the American Alliance of Museums. The Museum presents a wide variety of visual arts exhibitions, educational programs and studio classes, films, and special events. The permanent collection of the Museum is divided into four focus areas and consists of more than 2,000 works of art organized around general themes of land and environment. Many of the Museum's exhibitions and programs are developed as content for the Center for Art + Environment, which aims to support the practice, study, and awareness of creative interactions between people and their environment.GeographiesNot indicatedDatesJan 1, 2023 – Dec 31, 2023Source990No causes providedNo populations provided–$5.3M
