Wildlife Habitat Projects
Habitat projects consist of establishing nesting cover for pheasants and other upland birds by planting native prairie grass, provide winter shelter for pheasants and other wildlife, and purchasing specialized habitat equipment for use by government agencies and landowners for conducting wildlife habitat projects. Public awareness and youth education activities consist of conducting youth mentor hunts in order to get young people exposed to the outdoors and the tradition of ethical hunting, holding target shooting events to teach proper handling of firearms and to expose youth to shooting sports.
