After hearing the devastating news that Vision House, a non-profit organization that provides housing and support for dozens of homeless women and their children, had their food bank broken into last week, the board members of Soroptimist Int'l of Seattle South quickly voted unanimously to donate $10,000 from our recent fundraiser to Vision House so they could replenish their stock in time for Christmas. We have given financial support to the following organizations: Foster High School, Gensis Project, Highline College Foundation, Hospitality House, Malawi Baby Formula, May's Place, and SIA Foundation. Along with the above in April of 2020 we added COVID-19 support for the shelters we serve.
